As a food truck owner, and especially when you are first starting off, you are going to be cooking constantly, which should be music to your ears. As a food truck owner, you get to create the menus, recipes, specials and everything relating to food, really, because you are the one who calls all of the shots. You run the kitchen as a food truck owner, and of course, you get to cook food every single day, which is a dream come true for so many different people.

If you have ever worked for someone before, then you probably weren’t in control of how much money you made. Let us explain.

If you work on salary, then you are literally capped out, and you have to work as much as your employer tells you to (of course, raises and bonuses do exist, but those are things you aren’t 100 percent in control of). At other jobs, you can only work a certain amount of hours, because your employer doesn’t want you to get overtime, or is only allowed to offer so many extra hours.
